We're proud to offer you the opportunity to come out and hear some great jazz, Michigan Tech style!   The Michigan Tech Jazz Band directed by Professor of Jazz Studies Mike Irish presents a "Big Band" show. Local combo "Elmwood Kathryn" will open the show.

TIME:          7:30 pm, doors open at 7 pm
COST:        $8 adults, $3 students

The Traverse City Opera House is the perfect setting for enjoying this performance.  The Michigan Tech Jazz Lab Band is considered one of the best college jazz programs in the Midwest.

Proceeds benefit the Traverse City Music Boosters scholarship program for public school band, orchestra, and choir students in grades 9-12.
